The profit sharing formula was set by LOA before the CBA was signed. And changing that formula in the CBA, either to raise it for everyone or to have a separate pool for the pilots, was one of the few items that the company set an absolute hard line on. As in, it was unnegotiable. This company is simply unable to learn from its mistakes and missteps in so short a period as 9 months to back down now. We won't see any changes to the formula until it becomes blindingly obvious to even the most insulated exec that company morale isn't just in a temporary slump, but will be permanently depressed until it is.
