Yeah near SAC is most frequent answer esp spots like Davis. Next would prob be Petaluma followed by Santa Cruz/Monterey.
Monterey is a nice community with great schools but definitely not considered affordable when compared to the other surrounding areas.
To quote a United pilot I know..."man if I ever rob like 5 banks I'm going to buy a place in the Monterey or Carmel"
