Yeah, you might go to OO and just move to their junior base.. You'll get hours quick and probably upgrade asap to the same base. It will just be easier. And bonus advice, wherever that junior base is (msp? dtw?) just embrace the location.. Do what the locals do. Try ice fishing and buy hockey gear.. Get the local jerseys and go to games. See how long you can fake the accent with the locals. Complain about the traffic and how things "aren't like they used to be" when you are in uber cars.
If you're not from California.. Stay away.. You won't like the sticker shock of prices here.. Unless you're willing to rent a couch like my buddy (you know who you are!) or live in a van behind an In n Out (you know who you are too!). On first year pay, you'll be able to afford the nicest tent to live in under the 405.
