Don't get me wrong. I don't mind working. I don't enjoy sitting around doing nothing. I'd much rather have them call me out for a 4-day on Day 1 of reserve than sit HRV 3 days in a row. All I'm saying is, the company doesn't need HRVs. For as long as I remember, I've yet to be notified of an assignment that couldn't have been assigned to a SCR. Because of that, I question the necessity to have a bunch of guys doing HRVs.
I'm sure you'd rather sit in the comfort of your own house than sit in the airport waiting for an assignment. Again, a lot of QOL issues are being addressed and I've faith in the union and the company to resolve many of these issues and like I said, things are headed in the right direction at PSA.
