At this point in time I would lean towards PSA once you’re senior and a line holder. While on reserve and junior I’d go with Republic. Once you’re a line holder I’d say our QOL is worth the pay loss compared to Republic. With that said though, reserve times at PSA will likely be close to 1.5 years or longer for a new hire starting today and when you do finally become a line holder... SAP (imo) will not be as desirable as it is today because we will likely have PBS that will come with restrictions on SAP. Although, we will probably have improvements in other areas. This could happen next week or next year. Who knows?
In the end, whether it’s now or 2 years from now, I think the difference between PSA and Republic will be negligible and you can’t go wrong either way.
