While Im not sure that making a request would be considered disrespect and lead to them reconsidering your employment, I will say this. There has been enough of a run around for alot of us on the jet just getting through training with all the delays. And the lack of info from the company on the situation...just unbelievable. That said, you might exacerbate an already thin stretched training/scheduling department by making a request for something other than what they had originally planned for you.
