Profit sharing is a formula for a bonus! When there are profits it triggers a bonus.
We have the worst formula. We used to have a standard plan and then management started to take money from the left pocket and put in the right pocket (change the formula). Since 2008 we would have no less than 4.8% PS in each and every year since then if were not for management monkeying with the formula.
What is worse is pilots(?) such as yourself (type) rationalized it then and to this day still do.
