Explain again how they are discriminated against? Currently, not past. Maybe I’m just naive since I couldn’t care less if you’re gay or straight. You’re equating someone making jokes about someone to being discriminated against. I don’t consider someone not making a wedding cake for a gay wedding because of their religious beliefs discrimination.
My issue is that you’re comparing the trials and tribulations of a gay person to a POW! You can’t be serious. Starvation, torture, captivity, broken bones, don’t know if you’ll live or die, beatings, chains, etc vs someone making fun of you. Not even remotely in the same league.
