Given that there is strong evidence that human brains aren't full developed until about 25 years old, you can't really blame cadets for being illogical. Those naive 'I won a participation trophy' 22-year-old cadets fail to see that in 8+ years, they'll be first to be furloughed from AA when the economy turns.
