How long have you been in this industry? They'll drag in on for half a decade, then give us pennies on the dollars on lost wages and morale will improve instantly. Look at Frontier or Spirit as an example. Our union will blame it on the recession that we stalled ourselves into.

0 closed sections shows me that our union wants to battle with management. We talk a big game, but have done 0 actual work. I've done this before. It's a losing battle. I like the way the Delta union has traditionally operated.

The biggest losers in this game are the guys retiring in the next 5-6 years who think they might have more retirement money coming. I won't be surprised if the union's biggest cheerleader, Jerry, retires on our current contract. FYI, retro disappears after a year. Signing bonuses don't apply to retired pilots.
