New hires: Plan on guarantee. Don’t budget on what the average is, since that can change and isn’t codified anywhere in the CBA.
I agree... always budget for guarantee (at any airline). That is sound advice.
That being said, I’m still getting rerouted on at least half of my trips with move up. I had a 19.5 3day pay about 35tfp recently. Maybe I’ve just be lucky (or unlucky depending on your viewpoint). Personally, I like move-ups
