Sorry if IATA, but that doesn’t really add up. If you worked till 65 you would end your career at the same spot on the seniority list (probably higher because of the increased medical retirements between 60&65). You would also have those 5 years as a stagnant FO wages and an extra 5 years of SS contributions/no SS withdrawals. Probably could work till 63 for the same money.
Not saying it doesn’t suck, but it’s not 5 years.
