Hey all,
So Im putting Air Wisconsin on my list of potentials and was curious about growth at the company. It seems a-lot of the threads are quiet and not much growth has been said to be happening. Is for someone who is close to the DC/NYC area and who's goal is United, is Wisconsin a good choice?

Company has been kind of hush about growth, but I wouldn’t count it out. However, there has to be growth among the pilot ranks first. Right now we’re understaffed for the amount of planes we already have. I’d roughly guess we’d need 100 more pilots at least to be staffed for what we have. We’ve grown maybe 50 total pilots in the last 2 years.
You’d likely hold IAD within a few months if not right out of new hire training. That being said, you’ll probably never hold IAD CA at this point, so be prepared to commute when you upgrade.
Despite the rumors, people are successfully getting through the CPP. You’re likely going to need a degree though if you don’t have one.
