Well again AA pilots have never gone ahead an OAL listed on a Republic flight. So this doesn't change anything. Second, the "change" (not really a change) still ranks by time of check in. Great. So AA guy will check in 24 hours prior and a Spirit guy will check in 30 mins prior. AA guy gets the jumpseat.
On a Republic operated United flight, a United guy checks in with his standby listing code 24 hours prior (or whenever) and an AA guy checks in 30 mins prior. United guy gets the jumpseat.
Now what the second part of this memo wants to do is change check in time priority and put all OAL folks in front of the AA folks who checked in well ahead of them. Yet it's AA who isn't being "fair". Gotcha.
