Question now with union and management pay agreement is this: What can a new hire expect realistically for frame, base and reserve times now. You can more than likely expect to be commuting to LGA and flying the 145. Is that really what you want to do as a west coast commuter? No non-stop flights between LGA and the west, so you’re limited to JFK (shouldn’t be too bad), but still. Why not SkyWest, or Horizon? You’ll hold DFW eventually, but it will take a bit. Then you’ll be fighting mainline for the jumpseat as they do the bulk of the west coast to Dallas flying.
If you’re sold on coming here then by all means welcome, but I would give a lot of thought to the QOL of commuting across the country for Envoy.
