Some of the highlights:

-Shipment must be tendered from a FedEx staffed station. FedEx Office Or Service Centers
-Be permanently employed for 6 months
-Only the employee and Spouse of employee are eligible to ship (spouse must present a valid gov issued ID plus a photo copy of his/her spouses airline ID)
-Dependents and other family members may not send discounted shipments
-Discount shipping is for personal use only
-Airline employees and spouse can only ship for themselves and NOT for any other person
-Signature release is required to receive discounted shipping. If interline employee requires recipient signature as proof of delivery then list shipping rates will apply
-Can not have shipment sent to him/her marked ‘Bill Recipient’
-All Express shipping categories are eligible for discounted shipping from Priority overnight to express saver
-Shipment must not exceed 150 lbs and or 10 individual pieces in a 24 hour period
-There’s also a comment that not all carriers receive same discount but there’s a very long list of carriers and they all have 75% listed as the discount for both domestic and international

That’s the general rundown in a nutshell. It’s a really nice benefit. When I jumpseat on other carriers I thank them for the ride and make sure they are aware of the shipping discount program. Most know about it and say it’s awesome!
