You can get to a regional whatever way you get the hours to qualify for an ATP. But at the NEXT level, having CFI/CFII/MEI is likely to gain you more points than having a Hawker SIC rating which you will never again use. The CFI/CFII/MEI experience makes it a lot easier to be competitive for LCA jobs at the regional level as well.
