Surely, you can’t mean those who were technically furloughed but wouldn’t accept recall are the same as furloughed for real and on the street?
So far as extra time even being available to fly, furloughed pilots or not... NO extra time was available in my legacy fleet the entire time I was on it. That includes the entire furlough period. NO extra time was available until 2015 in my new fleet.
I’m pretty sure that easily includes the entire legitimate furlough period.
I’m calling “Fake News” (has to be a bad source) on you. And that’s fine.
But review those Duty Summaries to be sure.
So I take it by your comment here you are worried your name is on the list? Quite defensive in all regards. I have NO idea who you are nor do I really care. I can say without a doubt on my spreadsheet here there are several extended days being used. It is for a date in which they still had people on the street. I can tell you the fleets were G200 and XL on one report and Phenom, XL and G200 on second one. I will not post them as it gets into a legal area I don’t want to get involved in and if I blacked out the names it would be even harder to read anyway...
If you didn’t extend voluntarily, don’t worry about it and if you did don’t worry about it either, the damage has already been done.
