Hey, no problem disagreeing- my whole point was that the tone of your writing was a little insulting. Take your pick of standby jobs- selling used cars was the first that came to mind. I worked with a furloughee

I know there's better out there than AMF- I'm aiming for Purple or Brown down the road. But for now, I work for AMF, and it's better than a whole lot of stuff out there. I hear RJ drivers griping about scheduling and not getting paid, just like people here whine. But pay isn't everything; if it was, I'd have stuck with brokerage or construction. I take pride in doing a job that a lot of people in this industry look down on, and doing it well. There's too many lazy and sloppy people who just want to move up and make more money. I'm more interested in learning from the basement up.

I've no real argument with you. I just thought the tone of your post was a bit disdainful. And while 121 carriers may provide more benefits, I don't trust 'em- look at what has happened to United and American employees.
