I believe it has shown up and been mistaken for an icing problem
I have never thought it was not a good plane in ice because twice I have been in severe icing and once came in with almost 2 inches on unprotected surfaces and the plane flew fine
both times I am convinced i had a downloaded stab and I also believe that had it been an uploaded stab I would not be here and cessna and the NTSB would have said it's another icing accident with the caravan and they would have blamed me for flying in the ice and killing myself
