Bases are not very different for seniority, at least from my position. Not a lot of people leaving.
I would guess 50% as an FO, so 25% total would get you a good hard line: between 1-2 years.
Upgrade, count on doubling in size, so 5-6 years.
Could be faster or slower so FWIW.
Let me make sure I’m following you correctly. You’re saying I’d need to be in the top 25 percent of all pilots to hold a commutable line? Or top %25 as a captain?
Would it be safe to say I could be a commuter to a line in DFW FO 2 years, CA 5 years?
