I just don't see how this statement is accurate right now. Don't get me wrong, I would love the growth to continute, but we have already been advised that our Delta flying was cut slightly until May, United flying remains flat, and minimal growth from Midwest. No upgrades for the CRJ have been awarded for January (so they are NOT running CRJ upgrade classes as of right now, however, the EMB upgrade class is still scheduled to go. They are in the process of awarding a February class right now, but not sure what position/equipment it is for). Last newhire class on any equipment was mid-November. Also, did anyone not notice how many reserve lines there were for DEN, SLC in December? Like 80 something per base (at least on the captain side)? This sure doesn't sound like we need another 200 FO's for our current flying. But hey, maybe they will rework the details of the Southwest deal and we will get a CRJ superbase in SFO afterall (and then I woke up)
