I'd be perfectly happy with those two-leg -700 days if we didn't have that stupid 20,000 ft company autopilot limitation! But it's okay, they say, to fly to 28,000 if it's deferred
I'm curious, what is that limitation? The A/P must be engaged at FL200?

Does that apply to the -200 and -900 as well?

Yep - all variants...and it's a company limitation only. But...if the A/P is deferred, you can still take it up to FL280 (no RVSM). My guess is somebody who shouldn't have been in a Jet in the first place did something stupid at altitude...
