I spoke with a SLC guy who is around 70% up the list. He said he was getting crappy trips and 11 days off. That is about all I know.
I highly doubt we are doing "part-time" pilots. Flight attendants can opt for part-time, but not pilots unless we changed something.

Just had a converstaion with a SKW pilot, who said he had been talking to some other SKW CRJ pilots in other domiciles than himself. He said they were getting lousy schedules, 4 days on 2 days off all the time and that Captains out of his domicile were working tough schedules too. Is that true? He also said something about SKW having "part time" pilots? ***?

I'd be perfectly happy with those two-leg -700 days if we didn't have that stupid 20,000 ft company autopilot limitation! But it's okay, they say, to fly to 28,000 if it's deferred

You make it sound like you actually enjoy what your job. That's just ridiculous.

We have part time flight attendents, but not pilots. Probably due to recurrent sim training costs...part-timers would need the same sim time.
Pilots can drop trips down to 62 hours without using vacation, so you can make yourself a pretty light schedule if you can afford.
