I am in the Jan. 14 class on the 900, I guess I don't mind not flying if I can travel. However, I'd much rather finish training and start flying right away - 6 months is a long time without any real flying time.
i'm in the 900 and my wait came after ground in MSP until sim training. about a month off for me. (not as bad as some people had, but i enjoyed the break) i traveled a little bit. but not international. and you should get paid your 75 hours/month starting the first day of training.
