Does HR simply not care and willfully looking the other way, or are there many who are that good at “fronting” during the interview?

Sure.......there are bad apples in every profession that slip through, butttt it sure seems like a higher % for FA.

What gives?
The job pays as little as $15K. The job involves nights away from home, bedrooms, and easy access to booze.

You get generally three stereotypes:

1. Very young, right out of HS. Usually normal, but inexperienced. Will fly for a couple years, then go get husbands, kids, jobs. It's their senior trip, may not be able to hold their booze.
2. Older, divorced, kids out of the house, alimony income (often substantial). May be serious alcoholic, but usually functional adults.
3. The rest are typically those not interested in a spouse, family and/or regular job. May be interested in alimony. This is potentially the real danger zone...

Also some normal ladies with families, they are usually not doing much partying or socializing.

Oh yeah, one other. Taking a one-year break after college before she starts med school. Ok to date and marry her.
