They wouldn’t bump a first class passenger and you know that. They would first bump a non rev passenger who had priority in the cabin over the United pilot because the flight was on their metal, next they go to a coach passenger. From what I understand, this is actually helping many of us. We simply call the FODM and say that we are on a brand X flight and they positive space is to base. Getting home is a different story, however I doubt that it is that big of a problem. Not many people from any airline are saying no. I don’t even know if many of the ones here who say they are are really captains. The PDR data will tell who is, and who isn’t. I hope on the regional side that there is a similar process to report United pilots who are playing this stupid game as well.
