I just can’t fathom SWA management and the BOD not taking a HARD look at diversifying the fleet no matter when the MAX comes back.
Seriously, think about the implications of another crash(es) once the MAX comes back. The sensationalist media will bury the type even if it’s not a result of MCAS and then SWA and its employees will be royally screwed.
The single fleet type has served the airline well but it’s time to grow up and stop being so close-minded.
