With an upcoming card drive from AFA, could we see Delta make a concerted effort to delay getting an DALPA deal done, in an effort to create an image to the FA’s that union negotiations ‘only lead to delays in receiving raises.’
The theory is, that if Delta and DALPA get to an agreed contract with workrule and financial gains for the membership, that would only further entice the FA’s to organize. Delta does not want that to happen, and thus will drag their feet with DALPA as long as possible.
Thoughts?
Hush! Management never thought of that, and was about to give the pilots a windfall contract. Now they’ll read your post and
really drag their feet.
