Your on duty, they expect you to be at the plane/airport. Anything other you Technically need to get permission.
Call your CP and ask, or the union and talk to the guys that have had to defend guys that didn’t do what they are supposed to do.

My flights leave on time 100% of the time unless there’s ATC issues or bad FBO service.
Technically speaking, of course.
I read the arbitrations and the ones that “make the papers” do not involve a little mile trip to get a cup of coffee and an Egg Bite. They often involve habitual behavior offenders who never really grasped the business that were in or how to successfully coexist as part of a team.
There’s always much more to the story.
But technically speaking, before I go to a sit down food venue of any sort and spend “time” there, I would send a GM in to communicate what we’re doing with the rest of the team.
