What they can't do, what scope is prohibiting them from doing, is to continue to subcontract out beyond their current numbers.
If they don't want to buy a NSNB but still want more 76 seaters? Great! Send me to school so I can get a type rating. I'll fly it.
UAL corporation owns plenty of E-175's, and the pay scale is listed on our current contract. Need more of them? Get me a type rating and I'll be happy to fly it!
They’re just buying E175’s and only putting 70 seats in to replace the old junked out 70 seaters.
I’d love to see all jets with United painted on the side flown by United pilots, but that’s not realistic. Buying a SNB would be a huge step toward that, but they don’t seem to want to do that either. If they won’t give us 100 seat jets, 76 seat jets are a pipe dream. They have available options now, they are just choosing not to exercise any of them. So we wait.
