The reason you probably still see your app is because we aren't hiring at the moment. I bet when there is an announcement about the window opening you will also see your app requiring attention.

I put my application in the first time in Nov 06. The window closed, the new year rolled by and I re-applied again in the first quarter of 07. When re-applying my first resume / hours were still in the system and it had / allowed me to re-accomplish.
I don't remember if there was a "stop" in the hiring between resumes / years so I can't pass along words about dumping for other than my example.
Good luck, and it's worth it. I left UAL after 10 years / no furlough.
