I checked the bid packages for C7C, C7F and CRC and, according to them, we had lost 24 pilots in December .Regarding the loss of flight time in February so is that normal. It will continue to slow down the next couple of months, just to pick up again in the summer.
All new hire classes from the 26th of November till now were given CVG as a base. The class on the 26th has 5, the 3rd of december has 5, the 17th has I believe 5 as well. Thats all I know from being around the training center.
Also, during our new hire orientation for the family... I wish I could remember this guys name but I cant, he was an HR guy. He told us that the rumors were all the aircraft leaving the delta connection fleet were going to be Comair's and that it wasnt true. He told us that this year we will have about 7 aircraft leaving. The rest will be from other carriers. He also said to expect the same for the next few years. He told us that at first delta cut about 4000 hours from us. But they talked to delta and told them it didnt make sense to cut our flying when we are wholly owned and all the money goes right back to delta. Then Delta gave us a lot more flying and took it away from other carriers. Take it for what its worth but that came straight from the HR guy. Ill find out his name for you guys when I go back on Monday.
