how can you NOT mention eggs 'n things for breakfast??? i used to only go to duke's for the buffet breakfast or eggs 'n things.
i really like the shorebird. i've been going there since about 1988. i like cooking my own steak and, when i was single, the grill was a great place to meet nice tourist ladies from all over the world. chuck's (above duke's) is nice and they give you a 20% (i think) discount with airline i.d. so does shorebird. the outdoor bar at the sheraton waikiki (with the giant banyan tree) is a nice place for a drink.
for "other" pursuits, don't forget pure platinum or rockza. i've never been myself, i just heard about them...
also, the "walking show" along kalakaua after about 10 p.m. is interesting.
oh and nashville waikiki is great. $1.50 mai tais during happy hour. you just need to be able to find it! (basement under the ohana west...)
