I am currently with a regional with about 300 hours of 121 time. I currently commute, but will be based near my home in May. The caveat to the new base, is I will be last on the list and it is very stagnant. At the rate I am flying I should be eligible to upgrade late summer/early fall, and will go back to commuting.

This benefits with FX of being domiciled 20 mins from my house and being flown to and from trips is very appealing. Also the bump is pay is nice touch as well.

My ultimate goal is to get on with UA, AA, or SWA. I would like to get some thoughts from people who are familiar with this type of flying on jumping ship, if the opportunity should arise.

A quick synopsis of my background.

Mil RW pilot, previous LE FW and RW Pilot.

TT: approx 3000 hours

FW: approx 1100 (300 turbine)

121: 300
For what it's worth, living in base is everything. Commuting is for the birds.
