Doing the bidding in September for a Jan 1st - Dec 31 makes a hell of a lot more sense.
Having bid in both systems, I agree. Spring bidding is the worst of the 2. But, you will never get a person who hasn’t had the fall bid to admit it might be better because that’s the way they always do it and good luck changing their minds.
