End of career vacation buyback
I had a similar issue this year. I did an INSITE and the Vac lady canceled the Vac period for me so I didn’t have to deal with it.
If you retire on the 31st, an NQN line starts there onto infinity. Last day of work is 30th.
There is a document on pfc under bidding that explains what happens with trips and vacations in the bid month you retire. Shows examples of vacation starting before the NQN and after NQN.
In my case I had a vacation and trips just after the start of NQN. They process the vacation first then conflicts w NQN that put hours in GMU (not CIC). It looked complicated for bidding so I asked them just to remove the Vac period to make it easier.
