Curious about commuting from within California. Specifically, we live in San Diego, but would be looking at LAX or SFO for domicile. I would think those are pretty decent commutes, given the number of flights and short duration of those flights.

I am way ahead of myself on this, but off all the things with civilian flying, the commuting piece is one of the most foreign to my way of life. Wife is from Milwaukee, and we are Packers season ticket holders, so she is fine with moving to the midwest...but I would love to not scoop snow on my off-time!

Thanks for listening!
I don't commute-SFO, but I fly with a lot of San Diego commuters. Many times they can be home before I get to the Bay Bridge in SF. Decent commute, lots of options.

SFO is more junior than LA, and SFO has more flying. Career will progress faster in SFO, with more fleets and better variety.
