FedEx used to conduct survey-feedbacks every so often, where you could answer questions and provide input/complaints about different areas. Initially, flight managers and other were listed by names, with specific questions about their performance (this may have been back in the JW Chief Pilot time frame). Then, when the answers started being undesirable, it migrated to much more general questions and answers, with no names associated. Then, again when the answers were not what was really being looked for, it migrated to a very short, very general questions, form. Then, it finally went away. While it existed, even at the end, the company was at least giving the appearance of wanting to know our feelings on things.

Sounds like ALPA is smarter, and instead of really getting usable, specific, information, they just go with the mode of being able to show 'they are trying'.
