Isn't Omni an LLC? They do fly to all corners, Do you know of any case where their pilots have been mistreated in China or Latin America because they are americans?
I've been flying to China for the past 13 years, no one has ever even been impolite.
Don't get me wrong, Eastern 3.0 is definitely a gamble, they have their work cut out for them to try to compete in the market today but I don't think you will find anyone throwing rocks at you in Shanghai because you are an american.
