Default After 1500 hours...

Let's say you make good money in a non-aviation job and that you decide you want a career change. So, you spend the next 3 to 4 years getting all your ratings and building up to 1500 TT, mostly paying as you go. That time is mainly comprised of non commercial IFR XC as well a little bit of dual given.

Is it plausible at that point to be able to move into an FO position at a regional? The lack of turbine time is noted.
