Look at where the large RJ payband stops. It’s not that low for a reason, 175 staffing is less pilots per airplane.
y’all both make good points about staffing requirements 145 v 175. I just looked up the vacation blocks for both fleets and it’s 17 (145) to 11 (175) for the first week of 2020. The company offered a 60/40 split on vacation which leads me to think there are more 175 pilots than one might expect. I know it’s a crude method but I’m lazy and don’t care too much about who is right.
