Yes I would agree with both of those comments that california would be the place to upgrade the fastest to captain however you would have to then switch over to a different segment to be upgraded to the 200 and after about three more years of being captain you may be selected to upgrade to the Dash 8 but you’d also need to be able to do a security clearance so when i was working there a few months ago The California base was swamped with applications florida had a few opening for similar work but not as much flying and the segment i was in ada is always hiring because they don’t treat their pilots too well in my opinion but yes i have flown in the California bases and florida and the people there are awesome im talking about upper-management not treating the pilots well for the most part.
