I currently do Tricare Select for the family and do a supplemental program through MOAA that gives my family a lot of flexibility and choice off-base. My wife also works for a Fortune 500 company so we could go back to her insurance if need be (we haven’t gone that route up until now based on cost) and essentially get the same quality of care with our current route.
How good/bad (cost, quality, red tape) is Delta health insurance? Any words of advice based on my situation? Any blind spots I should try to avoid?
Thanks for the time and looking forward to joining the team!
Retired military here. 20 years active. Still have Tricare Select with the MOAA Mediplus supplemental. Works great. I don't know any military guys here at Delta (retired or reserve) that use Delta's Health Plan.
I do use Delta's Dental plan, as well as vision.
