That’s basically it, generally there are two types hot beds and cold beds. Hot bed different pilot every night, cold bed the pilots has the bed for a month.
Usually there are several bunk beds to a room. Think of them as “Airline Pilot Barracks”

I was told ExpressJet does not give allowance for hotel stays, but does have crash pads on their website?
No commuter hotel allowance, never seen crashpads offered on the company website site. But their are crashpads our their on the Internet.
Google: Crashpad and airport code

Who owns them?

Do you pay monthly?

Are they mostly used while on reserve?

Is it the same bed every time?

Who cleans these places?

Thanks!
Usually owned as a side business by someone in the airline industry

Monthly rent
They are used by commuters (line and reserve)

See hot bed/cold bed above

Usually the owner has a cleaning service that takes care of the kitchens and bathrooms etc.hotel cleaning. However pick up your own stuff.
