I just looked at that the other day on a hard time day where we over blocked (actually numerous times over the years), and I recycled the brake to grab an extra minute or 2 as we waited for the jetbridge. Cargo door does not trigger an in time.
I’ve been looking at this for some time and I truly think there is variation within the fleet. Whether it’s a 321 thing that’s different, or the newer vs older ACARS system or something else I don’t know. I haven’t been able to see a pattern. However, I am pretty sure I have had instances where cargo door triggered “in” and others it has not.
