“Some pick up as many sims as they want”

There’s so much entitlement in that one sentence. Sims are posted at around 4am on crew access. You have to call in to crew scheduling to see if they can put one of the sessions on your schedule. It’s a huge PITA.

I don’t see how a normal person can wake up at 3:30am to 4:30am and try to snag a few sim sessions. Maybe if the process was streamlined so you didn’t have to call in to pick up it would be a little more palatable.

Plus it’s not like there is any kind of formal education process on how to pick up sims. It’s all just something you have to figure out on your own. I’m guessing none of this will change because it favors a select group of very senior pilots at AS.
