I did the same thing 4+ years ago and don’t regret it one bit. Still an FO and making almost double what I was making as a boss at a 91 job. My QOL is better than any corporate gig thanks to firm schedule, no call, job security, lack of “pilot” duties, etc. Really is a no brainer and I regret not doing it sooner.
