Did the same thing, except it was in the $80k range. Have a buddy going through the process and is about to take a $130k hit. Still worth it. Suffer financially for a year...maybe 2 years, but the long term financial gain and immediate QOL boost compared to even
some of the best corporate gigs make the jump worth it.
