We have all kinds of ways to make extra money. Some drop most of their trips and pick up premium. Some fly FAR max, work vacation, time out, and pick up as many sims as they want. Some fly many extra FCF segments. Some do many extra sims and extra check rides. It doesn’t affect you or your contract. They are taking advantage of the contract they have. You can’t because you commute and because you can’t everyone else is a “hoar”, perfect. I bet you are a joy to fly with.
Really can’t say how I am to fly with. Don't have that weird Seattleite fascination about what the stranger I am sitting next to thinks. Crystal clear on all the contractual benefits enjoyed by a couple hundred Seattle pilots. The fix for the rest of us is to move. Empty the other 4 bases. Got it. With the mAx sliding into the fall there might not be as many extra sims to go around.
